Knockout bonus predictions
Every knockout match also asks three Yes/No-style questions, pre-filled from your score but always editable: will it go to extra time, will it go to penalties, and who wins the match. A correct answer earns the point whichever way you predicted — there's no penalty for guessing wrong.

Predict a decisive score (e.g. 2-1) and we assume no extra time, no penalties, and that team wins. Predict a draw (e.g. 0-0) and we assume extra time and penalties happen — but since a draw doesn't favor either side, you choose the winner yourself. Max +3 per match, never doubled by the x2 bonus.
Win Probabilities
Each match card shows a probability bar estimating the chances of a home win, draw, or away win. These are our own calculations — not sourced from bookmakers, betting markets, or any gambling-related service.
We use each team's official FIFA World Ranking points and an Elo-style formula — the same mathematical model used in chess ratings and widely adopted in sports analytics. The bigger the ranking gap between two teams, the higher the probability for the stronger side.
Since all WC 2026 matches are played at neutral venues (USA, Canada, Mexico), no home-field advantage is applied. Draw probability is modelled to reflect real international football patterns: around 28% when teams are evenly matched, decreasing toward 10% for large mismatches.

❓ Frequently Asked Questions
When do predictions lock?
Predictions lock 5 minutes before each match kicks off. The countdown timer on each match card shows you exactly how much time you have left.
Can I change my prediction after submitting?
Yes — you can update your prediction any time up until the 5-minute lock window. Once locked, no changes are possible.
How does the x2 bonus work?
Each eligible round gives you 2 x2 bonus tokens. Apply one to any prediction before it locks and the points you earn for that match are doubled — up to +12 for a perfect score. Eligible rounds are Group Stage Round 2, Round 3, Round of 32, Round of 16, and Quarter-finals. You can remove a bonus and re-assign it to a different match at any time before kick-off.
How do private leagues work?
Create a league from the Standings page, share your invite code with friends, and they join with that code. Your league standings update automatically as match results come in.
When are points awarded?
Points are calculated and added to your total once an admin posts the official final score. This typically happens shortly after the match ends.
Why might a live score be a few minutes behind the real match?
Live scores and match status are pulled automatically from a public football data API roughly once a minute. It's usually instant, but the API can occasionally lag behind the real action by a minute or two. Your points are never affected by this — they're always finalized from the official result an admin enters after the match ends.
What happens if a match goes to extra time or penalties?
For knockout stage matches, predictions are based on the score at the end of regular time (90 minutes). Extra time and penalties determine the advancing team separately.
Why is my rank different in my league vs globally?
Global standings rank all players by total points. League standings rank only the members of that specific league — so your position can differ between them.
